Roles of the School Parents/Teachers Association

The Parents/Teachers Association (PTA) plays a vital role in supporting the growth, development, and effective management of the school. Its key responsibilities include:

Encouraging Enrollment:

Promoting increased student enrollment and retention in the school.

Participation in School Development:

Actively engaging in school development plans and mobilizing resources for various school activities.

Responding to School Needs:

Ensuring prompt and coordinated responses to the immediate and long-term needs of the school.

Promoting a Conducive Learning Environment:

Supporting initiatives that foster a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment for effective teaching and learning.

Combating Out-of-School Challenges:

Working to eliminate the prevalence of out-of-school children within the community.

Reducing Truancy:

Helping to minimize absenteeism and truancy among both pupils and teachers.

Mobilizing Support and Resources:

Serving as a key channel for promoting the image of the school and mobilizing funds for infrastructural and educational projects.

Enhancing the School’s Image and Standards:
